Jakub Cerny is Executive Vice President, Fleet Services. Jakub manages Hub Group’s transportation assets across intermodal, dedicated, truck brokerage, final mile as well as emergency response services. Additionally, Jakub leads Hub Group’s fleet technology, including in-cab technology, trailing asset tracking and emerging technology.
Previously, Jakub served as a Senior Vice President, Fleet Services, since February 2020, responsible for Hub Group’s transportation asset management, maintenance and repair, and fleet technology research and implementation. Jakub has also led several projects to improve Hub Group’s container design and served in several additional management roles since joining the company in 2002.
Jakub earned an equivalent of a Bachelor of Science degree from Czech Technical University (CVUT), Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Structures in Prague, Czech Republic.
