Hub Group Announces Executive Leadership Changes

New Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Intermodal Officer Named

OAK BROOK, Ill., May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Hub Group (NASDAQ: HUBG), a leading provider of intermodal, truck brokerage and logistics services, announced changes to its executive leadership team resulting from the retirement of Don Maltby, Chief Supply Chain Officer.

David Marsh, currently the Chief Marketing Officer, will move into Maltby’s role as Chief Supply Chain Officer. Chris Kravas, currently the Chief Intermodal Officer, will become the Chief Marketing Officer. Dan Burke, currently President of Hub Group Trucking, will take on the role of Chief Intermodal O­fficer. All changes will be effective immediately. 

After almost 24 years with Hub Group, Maltby will retire at the end of 2014.  Under Maltby’s leadership, Unyson, Hub Group’s logistics division, has grown from a small start up to a major award-winning industry leader, reaching $448 million in revenue in 2013.   Maltby will transition his current responsibilities to Marsh, and focus on the implementation of Hub Group’s corporate strategy for the remainder of the year.

As the new Chief Supply Chain Officer, Marsh will be responsible for Unyson and Hub Truck Brokerage.  During his 23 year tenure with Hub Group, he has held a number of key leadership roles including President of Hub Group Ohio, Executive Vice President of Hub Truck Brokerage and, most recently, Chief Marketing Officer.   

Moving into the role of Chief Marketing Officer, Kravas will oversee the company’s sales, corporate marketing and customer service organizations. Kravas has been with Hub Group for over 12 years and has served as President of Hub Truck Brokerage, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Yield Management and, most recently, as Chief Intermodal O­fficer.

Burke, currently President of Hub Group Trucking, will take on the role of Chief Intermodal O­fficer. In this role Burke will run the company’s Intermodal operations and Hub Group Trucking. During his nearly four years with Hub Group, Burke expanded the company’s terminal footprint and driver network despite adverse market conditions.
